Site identity…

Custom Lifeguard systems tailored for individual worksites

At Jackson Industries no two sites are the same, and the company says neither are its Lifeguard systems.

“From configuration through to colour, cable printing and stand design, we give customers the ability to build a setup that truly fits how they work on site,” says general manager Mark Jackson.

The Lifeguard range provides portable power distribution for construction sites, with interconnected units allowing power to be distributed around a site and purpose-designed stands supporting the Lifeguard 16 and 17 units.

He says one of the biggest shifts being seen is the move towards fully customised fleets. Major contractors are now using colour to their advantage, matching Lifeguard units to their brand or site identity to improve visibility, reduce equipment mix-ups and create a more professional-looking workspace.

“It’s not just functional, it’s instantly recognisable on even the busiest sites. But the real game-changer has been the Lifeguard 16/17 stand.

“Take Hawkins Construction, for example. We recently supplied ten custom Hawkins-orange Lifeguard 16/17 stands designed to travel nationwide across their projects. The high-visibility colour helps their teams quickly identify equipment, while the stackable design has transformed logistics on the ground.”

Jackson’s take is supported by Hawkins’ Dave Wright: “Ten new stackable stands take up the same space as just two of the old stands,” making transport and storage far more efficient.

Built from heavy-duty impact-resistant polyethylene, the stands are designed for what Jackson describes as “real jobsite conditions”, lifting units off the ground to improve safety and protect them against water and debris. Integrated shelves, pole-mounting options and tool-free clip-lock installation add further versatility on site.

“We’ve also seen strong feedback from teams like Naylor Love, who value the flexibility of tailored configurations and branded systems that integrate seamlessly into their site setups,” says Jackson.

Beyond stands, customers are customising cable printing, outlet configurations and full system layouts to suit specific project needs, turning Lifeguard into what Jackson describes as a “fully integrated site solution rather than just a power unit”.

“When it comes to power distribution, one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we build systems that can be configured, branded, and adapted to your world,” Jackson adds.
