ORANGE MEANS, ‘GO!’

BuildNZ returns to Auckland in June, registrations open

Those three simple words announced early April were cause for celebration as the events industry was finally given the go ahead to run shows and confirmation that the long awaited BuildNZ trade event is a go – and show organiser and staff at XPO couldn’t have been more excited.

“It’s been nearly two years since the last ‘Mega Event’ was held (which includes the combined shows BuildNZ, Facilities Integrate and The National Safety Show) and we are extremely proud to be returning to the Auckland Showgrounds next month to welcome thousands of visiting industry professionals who will be in attendance,” says Tony Waite, XPO events director.

There’s no denying it, he says, that the past two years has presented challenging times for the entire industry.

“With significant supply chain interruptions, increased building costs and continuing regulatory change across the sector the industry needs now, more than ever before, a one-stop shop to discover the latest products, services and innovative building solutions on offer – BuildNZ has it all.”

Trade shows such as BuildNZ continue to be a vital sourcing and networking platform demonstrating, as it has done so for over 30 years; Waite adding that there is no compromise for the power of being face-to-face with your customers, colleagues and industry peers, and the 2022 edition of BuildNZ will not disappoint.

New Zealand’s largest build, design and facilities management trade show returns to Auckland Showgrounds for two days only, June 29-30, 2022 and will present a showcase of the newest technology, products, solutions and know-how the industry needs all under one roof. It goes without saying, at no other time has an event like this been so important for the sector.

So, what can you expect to see? For starters, explains Waite, three very full exhibition halls packed with thousands of new products, solutions and technology from over 200 national and international exhibiting suppliers. The Bunnings Trade Seminar Series will offer two days of education and learning including headline topics such as Mental Health in Construction, Planning for Supply Chain Disruption, Digitilisation of Buildings including Cybersecurity, Building for a Sustainable Future and Managing your Workforce in a post Covid Environment, to name a few.

“Not to mention the many other features and workshops onsite available for you to upskill and earn valuable LBP and CPD points. Attendees will be able to discover the many show specials, onsite prizes, networking opportunities and so much more.

“The biggest challenge will be to ensure you plan your time well so as not to miss any of it.”

As the only large-scale event of its kind in 2022, this is the one trade show he says that you must attend.

“So, spread the word to all your colleagues and join us to experience all that’s new to the industry – you deserve it.”
